I first chose kerrang! to look at for an audience profile and I know the magazine will have taken a lot of the same influences we have in terms of music e.g. bands and genre. Due to Kerrang! featuring Green Day a lot it seemed appropriate to look at the website to give us an idea of our target audience.

Q magazine is also from the same brand (Bauer Media) and Kerrang! and is also a similar magazine except Q have a wider variety of genres in the magazine.
NME
NME has a slightly more detailed look into their audience. It is mainly aimed at young males which is what we should aim our products to and keep that in mind as we are doing so.

You Tube Secondary Research
This is from Green Day's more recent album and a song called 21 guns. We can see from this that the main audience base is young females which is unusual as most rock music is aimed at males between 16-25. Americans mainly listen to thier music but the united kindom still make it popular which is good as this will be a factor in our target audience.
