For a detailed look into our audience we chose a few students from around college that stereotypically look like they would enjoy the genre of Rock. The camera used was a fujifilm s5700 digital camera. And the interviews took place in our media department at college.The quality of the video isn't great as we had a few technical difficulties which were from the quality of the camera. It caused the video to be slightly fuzzy and dark and from syncing the clips to a computer it cut off parts of the speech from each clip.
In editing, since there was speech missing from the clips, some of the questions could not be answered by certain people and also why we summarise each section at the end using text. We could have prevented some of these problems but this is something to take to the next filming stage for us.
We mainly asked the questions to people aged 17 years old. We chose people of our aged group as our Music Video will probably be directed to people of this age range. We knew that most of them liked Rock music but many of them liked the sub genre and band we want to use for our Music Video. However, many had very different opinions on their favourite music videos and bands but they did agree that there should be used of the band and a storyline with it which is what we intend to do for our final project.
