The Inbetweeners Movie (Film Trailer)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3HzTKbsqsY

Before we watch the trailer we instantly know it will be stereotypical and as it is brought out in summer we know it will be their 'lads' holiday.
The trailer begins with an wide shot of a character which we assume has a summer job in a supermarket as we can guess they have finished school/college for the summer. It then goes into an established shot of some sub urban housing with a pan to show the location of where they all live. Then it leads to what they are doing with their lives in England and as they are leaving school with voice over speech of one of the characters. it then introduces cutaways for infomation on the movie. It then leads to one of the characters explaining how brilliant the holiday will be but the way they use establishing shots of the area looking perfect you realise they are being set up for a fall which is then apprent when the jump cuts stop at a run down hotel building. The music in the background also stops for laughter. They use modern music as this is about the everyday teenage boy. As the film is about modern boys the cuts are sharp and fast paced to try and show mainly funny parts as it is a comedy.
They stereotype the 'inbetweeners' by showing obvious fashion mishaps which teenagers develop through. They also seterotype the holiday surroundings by using bright clip lights and a strip of clubs which we assume most adolescent holidays would be like. They are also shown drinking and with girls alot which emphasises what teenage boys are 'supposed' t be like.
The lighting in the trailer is very high key as it is a comedy which sets a lighter mood which is effectivly different from the Harry Potter trailer which essentially wanted to create a tense atmosphere.
