Ideas for Music Video (Planning)

Song Choice
This is how we began choosing our song by writing down a list of ones we wanted to make videos for. We mainly stuck to songs that hadn’t got videos already. We narrowed it down to three Green Day songs but our questionnaire results decided our final one which was ‘Give Me Novacaine’.



Plot Outline For Music Video
This is our general idea for the music video however, we may change the mian character to being female rather than male as it is more stereotypical of the girl being hurt and one of Green Day’s videos for Jesus Of Suburbia already has the male character being hurt.
I think our ideas may be better when we begin to storyboard them.



Location Ideas
This is a rough mind map of the kind of locations we are going to look at for our music video. These may not all be used but we will do some research into which are suitable for the video.



Cast: Actors and the Band
When we chose our cast we were mainly looking for friends as they are trustworthy into helping us with the video. These are the ones we have narrowed it down to.
